Graveside service for Roy D. Bell, Sr., 46, Ada, will be 3 p.m., Friday, at Rosedale Cemetery. Richard Newlund conducting rites. Mr. Bell died July 19, 1989, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1942, at Cottonwood to Andrew W. and Alva Lee Douthitt Bell. He had lived all of his life in the Ada area and attended Ada schools. Bell graduated from East Central University in 1969, attended Trinity Baptist and had served in the U.S. Army.
He married Helen Thomas on May 5, 1965.
Survivors include three sons, Roy D. Bell, Jr., John Bell and Weldon Bell, all of Ada; one daughter, Chrystal Dawn Bell, Ada; two brothers, Jack Bell and Fred Bell, both of Ada; and one sister, Peggy Watts, Edmond.
