 Raymond L. Phillips passed away suddenly Feb. 9th. from a blood clot.  He lived many years in Alabama.  But he loved coming back to Ada for the class reunions .  He valued his friendships very much.  And he was adored and loved dearly by his family.  His laughter and positive outlook was contagious.  He will be greatly missed.  Please pray for his family and friends for this is a sad and grieving time.

Richard James Thompson 1942 - 2012

Richard James Thompson, known to his family and friends as "Pard," passed away on July 23, 2012, at the age of 69 after a lengthy and courageous battle against cancer.
Richard was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on November 12, 1942, to James and Edith Thompson. He grew up in Ada and attended Ada High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada. He attended East Central College for 2 years before transferring to the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1965. He graduated with special distinction. While at OU, Richard was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma and the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Between 1965 and 2005, Richard was president of Thompson School Book Depository. Richard served in the Oklahoma National Guard for 12 years, led by Brigadier General Buster Smith and under the command of General Jerry Grizzle, H.H.C. of the 45th Infantry Brigade.
Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marion Thompson; two sons, Matt Thompson and Charles Thompson, both of Oklahoma City; 2 grandsons, Nick Thompson and Thayer Thompson, both of Oklahoma City; sister, Betty Gilliam of Ardmore; nephews, Chris Gilliam of Oklahoma City, and John Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Tsinena Bruno Thompson, both of Oklahoma City; and niece Lynn Ann Hines and her husband, Ron Hines, both of Maryville, Tennessee. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John R. Thompson.
The family wishes to thank with deep appreciation all of the nurses on the 9th floor at St. Anthony Hospital who provided exceptional nursing with care and compassion. Thanks also to all of the nurses, staff, and techs associated with them. To all those who assisted Richard in I.U. therapy, thank you. While professional in their work, they did so with friendliness, humor and sincere commitment. Finally, special thanks to Dr. Gary Rahe, who for 25 years fought with and for Richard, giving the best a doctor and the medical profession could provide.
Come and go visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2012, at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Jon Howard Krause 1942 - 2012

Memorial rosary for Jon H. Krause, 69, Ada, is 7 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Criswell Funeral home. A funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Ada. Interment with military honors follows at Swan Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Rusty Hewes and Dennis Fine, deacon,  officiating.
Mr. Krause died Sunday, March 11, 2012,  at home. He was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Boston, Mass., to Reuben Ralph “Dick” Krause and Helen Howard Krause.
Mr. Krause attended Saint Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Ada High School in 1960. He enlisted in the United States Army and served in Korea. Following  military service, he received his bachelor’s degree from East Central State College and attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he attained his Juris Doctor in 1975. Mr. Krause was admitted to practice law on Sept. 11, 1975.
He married Shirley Davis on Nov. 6, 1980,  in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Mr. Krause had a  career as a corporate attorney in the oil and gas industry and lived primarily in Houston, Texas, and New Orleans, La. He retired to Ada with his wife in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Reuben and Paula Krause; and grandson, Ryder of Kapa’a, Hawaii; a son Christopher Krause, Ada; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Brenda Krause, Madill; a brother, Thomas Krause, Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Joseph Krause, Ada; and a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dr. Ben Baker, Bartlesville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Krause was preceded in death by his parents, R.R. “Dick” Krause and Helen Howard Krause; a sister,  Julia Beasley; and a brother and sister-in-law Richard and Pat Krause.
Bearers are Reuben Krause, Christopher Krause, Charles Krause, Thomas Krause, Joseph Krause and Ben Baker.   Honorary bearers are be Jerry Moore, Dennis Click, David Click and Mark Howard.

Joyce Yvonne Evans Sullivan 1942 - 2010

Sapulpa —  Funeral services for Joyce Yvone Sullivan, 67, Tulsa, were held at 10 a.m. today at Canyon Baptist Church in Sapulpa. Rev. Mike Peters offiated.

Burial followed at Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner. Ms. Sullivan died Tuesday, June 15 at her home.

Ms. Sullivan was born Sept. 26, 1942 in Oklahoma City, to Mary Lee (Robertson) and Edsel Mears Evans. She graduated from Ada High School May 26, 1960 and resided in Ada until 1987.    She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Chase Sullivan.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Sullivan of Sapulpa; daughter, Melissa Henry of Sapulpa; son Steve Henry of Ada; son Brent Henry and wife Mandi, Ada; Darren Henry “Moose” and wife Shelley,  Ada, son Richard Sullivan and wife Sam of Owasso, daughter Vicki Miller and husband Larry of Phoenix, Ariz.   She is also survived by her grandchildren: Ryan Henry, Morgan Henry, Raegan Henry, Clayton Henry, and Ashley Sullivan; two brothers, Jack Evans, Fort Worth, Texas, and Billy Dodd and wife Cynthia of Houston, Texas.

She was employed by the Sapulpa Public School system for more than 20 years as a librarian. 
Books will be purchased in her memory and the library will be known as “The Joyce Sullivan Memorial Library."

Fred Roden 1942 - 2009

MILBURN — Funeral services for Fred Cleveland Roden Jr., 67, Milburn, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at Connerville First Baptist Church in Connerville. Interment will follow at Connerville Cemetery in Connerville. Officiating will be the Rev. David Browning. Chickasaw Honor Guard will perform military honors.

Mr. Roden died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born May 3, 1942 in Ada to Fred Cleveland Roden Sr. and Letha Virginia Richmond Roden.

He married Linita Jo Evans on May 4, 1964, at Morris Memorial Baptist Church in Latta.

Mr. Roden was born and raised in Ada, he attended Ada Public Schools while growing up, and he graduated from OSU Tech in Okmulgee with an associate's degree in drafting. He worked as a senior drafter in oilfield refineries and retired Jan. 1, 2007 after many years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was associated with the Connerville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Linita Roden of the home; one son, Rodney Roden, Guthrie; two daughters, Tonya Roden, Burlington, Colo., and Julie Thomas, Vinita; five brothers: Jerry Roden, Rockwall, Texas, Kenneth Roden, Jacksonville, Fla., Ronald Roden, Wichita, Kan., Paul Roden, Oklahoma City, and Joe Roden, Irving, Texas; three sisters, Carolyn Pannell, Cedar Hills, Texas, Virginia Sue Hankins, Duncanville, Texas, and Mary Pruett, Pauls Valley; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Virginia Roden; one daughter, Laurie Roden; and one brother, John Walter Roden.

Larry Stallings 1942 - 2007

Larry Gene Stallings, 64, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Thursday, August 30, 2007.  Family visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2007, at Havenbrook Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, at First Christian Church with Reverend David Spain officiating.  Interment will follow at the Warren Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.

Mr. Stallings was born November 8, 1942, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Euleta (Estes) and J.B. STallings.  He was raised in Ada and graduated from high school there in 1960.  He received his bachelor degree from University of North Texas.  Mr. Stallings was in sales and employed by Digital Equipment, Compaq and HP until his retirement in 2001.  He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his friends at the Trails Golf Club and time spent with family.

Mr. Stallings was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his wire of 42 years, Barbara, of Norman;  son, Alex Stallings and wife, Tami, of Tulsa, OK;  daughter, Angela Carroway and husband, David, of The Woodlands, TX;  stepmother, Edna Stallings of Ada, OK;  two sisters, Debbie Andrews, of Norman and Karla Dale, of HotSprings, AR;  two stepsisters, Vicki Godwin and Jana Williams;  and six grandchildren, Ally, Nicholas, Annie, Parker, Lexi and Grayson.

Sandra Diane Palmore Powers 1942 - 2006

Tunica, Miss.... Graveside services for Sandra Diane "Sandy" Powers, 63, Tunica, formerly of Ada, Okla., are 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, John Norvell officiating.

Mrs. Powers died May 2, 2006, at a Tunica nursing center.  She was born July 10, 1942, at Ada, to Frank and Alyce Scott Palmore.   She attended Ada Schools.  She was an artist.

She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Gregory Powers; and a brother, Robert Scotson.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Mayo Powers, of the home;  two daughters, Diane Hodge and husband Mark, Fayetteville, Ark., and Tiffany Larsen and husband Kevin, Walls, Miss.;  a son, Michael Powers, Tunica;  her mother, Alyce Scotson, Ada;  a brother, Tom Palmore, Edmond, Okla.;  grandchildren, Kate Hart and husband Joshua, Fayetteville, Elizabeth Hodge, Duncan, Okla., Nick Larsen and Emily Larsen, both of Walls;  and a great-grandchild, Thomas Hart, Fayetteville.

Jack L. Allen 1942 - 2005

Funeral services for State Trooper Jack L. Allen, 63, of Lexington were held Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Wadley's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Pierce and the Rev. Sam Garner officiating.  Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.  Mr Allen died July 24, 2005, at Norman Regional Hospital.  He was born March 21, 1942, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Everett Doyle and Anna Caddell Allen.  He graduated from Ada High School and attended East Central University in Ada.  He had lived in Lexington since 1967, coming from Ada.  Mr Allen married Joye Jay, Aug. 7, 1986, in Oklahoma City.  He worked for the Ada Police Department for one year, then joined the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, retiring in 1986.  After retiring he worked for the Purcell Police Department as assistant police chief for 3-1/2 years, Lexington Police Department for 2-1/2 years and Cedar Creek Nursing Home as maintenance supervisor for 2-1/2 years.  Mr Allen was a member of the Troopers Association and the National Rifle Association.  He was preceded in death by his parents;  one brother, Paul Allen and a stepdaughter, Glenda Marie.  Survivors include his wife, Joye Allen, of the home;  two sons, Carl Allen and his wife, Renee, Joe Allen and his fiancee, Tina Gregory, both of Ada;  one daughter, Bobbie Jean Wyatt and her husband, Terry, of Luther;  three sisters, Gail Hammond and her Husband, Don, of Shawnee, Judy Dooley and her husband, Bob, of Cushing and Carolyn Carwell and he husband, Mark, of New Hampshire;  a sister-in-law, Della C. In loving memory of James P. King, 62, of Oklahoma City, who passed on July 4, 2004, after a year and a half of battling lung cancer.  Born Jan 4, 1942, to John Paul and Thelma Laverne King in Guymon, OK, James was a retired accountant, who in his early parenting years was heavily involved with the Cub and Boy Scouts and coaching his son's baseball teams.  In his later years, he found happiness umpiring, helping with the March of Dimes, and loving his grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma, and his brother, Francis King, he is survived by his wife Charlotte King of the city, brother Thomas King, Austin, TX, first wife Jan Clare, OKC, son Michael King and wife Sharen, Oak Creek, WI, son Brian King and wife Marci, Colorado Springs, CO, stepdaughter Kristin Clement, Perryton, TX, and stepsons Charles Howard, Dallas, TX, and Bryan Howard, OKC.  James boasts of 6 grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew Clement, Perryton, TX, Lauren and Coryn King, Oak Creek, WI, and Makayla and Nicole King, Colorado Springs, CO., Nicole born July 5, 2004.  James is also survived by hundreds of scouts and baseball players whose lives he so positively impacted.  Thank you Lord for giving us James who always cared first for others before himself.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10 at 110 a.m. at Demuth Funeral Home, 1145 W. Mr. Walston was born Dec. 5, 1940, at Byars, Okla.  to Veta and Bud Walston.
He lived most of his life in the Ada area.  He was retired military from the Department of the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Walston, Port Orange;  a son, John Wayne Walston, Ada;  a daughter, Anita Morris, Ada;  his mother, Veta Walston, Allen;  three brothers, Bill Walston, Atoka, Don Walston and Jerry Walston, both of Ada;  two sisters, Venita Holbrook, Garland, Texas, and Juanita Bingham, Oklahoma City;  and three grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kenneth Gerald Walston.

Nancy Dveney Pendergraft 1942 - 2002

Services for Nancy Pendergraft, 60, Norman, formerly of Ada, were 10 a.m. June 1, 2002, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.  Burial followed at Memorial Gardens in Ada.
She died May 31, 2002.  She was born April 21, 1942, at Ada, to Dick and Zelma Dveney.
She was office manager at Saturn Project of OU.
Survivors include her husband, Doug;  a son, Buzzy Mann;  a daughter, Michelle Harper;  a stepson, Buck Pendergraft;  three sisters, Leota McDaniel, Wanda Newlund and Linda Hurley;  a brother, Richard Dveney;  and seven grandchildren.

Bob Austin Taylor 1942 - 2001

Austin R. "Bob" Taylor, North Augusta, S.C., died Aug. 17, 2001.  Visitation with the family is 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home.
Mr. Taylor was a native of Ada, Okla., and had lived at North Augusta the past 33 years.  He was a retired US Army Master Sergeant and a business owner.
Survivors include his wife, Ursula S. Taylor;  a son, Austin E. Taylor, Jr., Hartsville, S.C.;  three sisters, Eva McCown, Wichita, Kan., Judy Carroll, Ada, Okla., and Ann Biddy, Seminole Okla.

Services for Jerome Benton, 59, Stonewall, are pending with Criswell Funeral Home. 
Mr. Benton died March 6, 201, at a local hospital.

John Wayne Putman 1942 - 2000

Graveside services for John Wayne Putman, 57, Ada, are 10 a.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery, the Rev. Danny Alexander officiating.
Mr Putman died Feb. 8, 2000, at a local hospital.  He was born March 4, 1942, at Ada, to Wayne Willis and Genevieve Lambert Putman.  He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Floye and Ola Mae Bazemore.
He lived in this area all his life.  He attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School.  He attended East Central University.  He was employed by Mistletoe Express and the C.R. Anthony Company.
Survivors include a daughter, Delayna Aloexander, Kingston;  two half brothers, Lynn VanHorn Spencer, and Tom VanHorn, Mustang;  and a granddaughter.

Joseph Beryl Blankenship 1941 - 2000

Services for Joseph Beryl Blankenship, 58, Memphis, Tenn., are 10 a.m. Monday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ada, Okla., the Revs. James White and Mick Snider officiating.  Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, Okla.  Disabled American Veterans Chapter 85, Oklahoma City, will conduct military honors.
Mr. Blankenship died April 12, 2000, at a Memphis, Tenn., hospital.  He was born Nov. 22, 1941, at Weslaco, Texas, to Roy and Edna Durham Blankenship.
He graduated from Ada High School in 1960.  He attended electronics school and received his FCC radio telephone operators license in 1985.  He owned and operated Mid-Plains Resources.  He was a member of Raleigh First Assembly of God Church in Memphis  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Memphis and was a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner and an active member of the director's staff.  He served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1963 as an aviation machinist mate.
He married Ginger Drennan in May 1965.  She died May 31, 1976, in Memphis.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Blankenship;  three sisters, Ruth Sutton, Ada, Okla., Naomi White, Stillwell, Okla., and Liz Thornton, Burleson, Texas.

Ada... Services for Kenneth Gerald Walston, 58, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at College Heights Baptist Church, the Rev. Sherman Ivy officiating.  Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Walston died Dec. 30, 1998, at a local hospital.  He was born Dec. 5, 1940, at Byars to Kenie Buell "Bud" and Veta Sanders Walston.
He moved to this area as a youth and attended school at Ada and Byng.  He was employed by Solo Cup Company and was a member of College Heights Baptist Church, Ada Lodge 1640 Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and Ada Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He was a veteran of the US Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Veta Walston, Allen;  four brothers, Bill Walston, Atoka, Don Walston, Jerry Walston, both of Ada, and Kenny Walston, Fort Orange, Fla;  two sisters, Venita Holbrook, Garland, Texas, and Juanita Bingham, Oklahoma City;  three daughters, Lisa Wright, Kim Pinington and Michelle Bryant.
Bearers are Bill Walston, Jerry Walston, Mickey Holbrook, Don Walston, Kenny Walston and Fred Bingham.

James Lynn Weatherford 1941 - 1998

Ada -  Services for James Lynn Weatherford, 57, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Keith Burden officiating.  Burial follows in Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Weatherford died Nov. 15, 1998, at a Wewoka nursing home.  He was born April 29, 1941, at El Paso, Texas, to James and Oleta Deatherage Keel Weatherford.
He moved to Ada about 1958 from Oklahoma City and graduated from Ada High School.  He was a mechanic, employed at Bonar Auto Supply and Shiplet Auto Repair.  He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Weatherford;  a daughter, Jeanna Weatherford, Seminole;  two sons, Wendell Weatherford, Poteau, and James Vincent Weatherford, Phoenix, Ariz;  his mother and father, Oleta and Jay Keel, Ada;  two sisters, Ann Bender and Veta Wilson, both of Tulsa;  two brothers, Jay Keel, Ada and Lynn Keel, Holdenville;  and a grandson.

O. B. Colvard 1942 - 1995

A Memorial Service for Oliver Ben Colvard was held at the Meadow Creek Church in Dallas, Texas, on November 15, 1995, at 11:00 a.m. 
Mr. Colvard lived most of his early life in Ada, Okla., went to Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School in 1960.  He attended East Central University.  He was a member of the Army Reserve.
Mr. Colvard is survived by a brother, Gerald Colvard, Dallas, Tx.; a sister, Joyce Jones, Dallas, Tx., a son, Chris Colvard of Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Catherine Allen of Mesquite, Tx; and three grandchildren.

Glenda Morrison Spencer 1942 - 1994

Bastrop, La. - Services for Glenda Morrison Spencer, 52, Bastrop, La., formerly of Ada, Okla., are 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Bastrop, La., the Rev. Larry Robertson officiating.  Burial follows at Christ Church Cemetery, Bastrop.
Mrs. Spencer died June 24, 1994, at a Bastrop hospital.  She was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Ada, to Finis and Donnie Hughes Morrison.  She attended Washington Grade School, Ada High School and East Central college in Ada.  She was employed in the banking industry and a Methodist.
On Aug. 19, 1961, she and Bobby Jack Spencer were married in Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jack Spencer, of the home;  three daughters, Shannon Robertson, McAlester, Okla., Shelly Spencer, Baton Rouge, La., Shawn Spencer, New Orleans, La.;  a son, Dr. Steven Spencer, El Paso, Texas; her mother, Donnie Morrison, Ada;  a sister, Orpha Lou Fisher, Oklahoma City;  and three grandshildren.
Bearers are Ted Emanuel, Bill Wralin, Joseph Petta, Van Elkins, Rory Robertson and Max Lucas.  Honorary

Linda Kay Hensley Vandewalker. 1942 - 1994

Ada -  Services for Linda Kay Hensley Vandewalker, 51, Ada, are 10 a.m. Friday in the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. J.C. Farrand and Scott Kinney officiating.  Burial follows in Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Vandewalker died June 22, 1994, at a local hospital.  She was born Aug. 4, 1942 at Corpus Christie, Texas, to Kenneth and Mabel Claire Bushnell Hensley.  She came to Ada in 1947 from Ardmore.  She attended school at Washington elementary and graduated from Ada High School in 1960.
She attended Oklahoma City University and East Central.  She was employed with Oklahoma Optical Supply Company in Ada.  She was a Tupperware manager in New Orleans, Corpus Christi and Houston and later worked with Snelling and Snelling Employment Service.
In 1961, she was Ada city tennis champion.  She taught ladies' tennis classes in Ada and McAlester.  She is survived by a son, David Wayne Vandewalker, Spring, Texas;  her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hensley, Ada;  and two sisters, Pat Gurley, Ada, and Sue Kinney, Yukon.
Bearers are Chris Gurley, Floyd Gurley, Roger Arabi, Russ Gurley, Scott Kinney and Alan Arabi.

Larry Mac Jones. 1942 - 1994

Woodward - Services for Larry Mac Jones, MSGT US Air Force, 51, Woodward are 3 p.m., Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Ada, the Rev. Bob Bender officiating. The Blue Warriors Honor Guard with Tinker Air Force Base will conduct full military rites. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada.

Mrs Jones died Jan. 6, 1994, at his home. He was born March 5, 1942, at Ada to Foy and Lorraine Willis Jones. He attended the Ada school system and graduated from Ada High School in 1960. He attended East Central University.

He retired from the US Air Force as a dental technician and owned a dental lab in Woodward after his retirement.

He married Lela Ann Jackson, Sept. 13, 1985, at Woodward.

He was a member of the USAF Sergeants Association, Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge of Woodward, Woodward Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of A.B.A.T.E. Club in Woodward. He served in the US Air Force from 1961-1981 and was a Vietnam veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Ann Jones, Oklahoma City; parents, Foy and Lorraine Jones, Ada; two brothers, Jerry Jones, Ada, and Joe Jones, Bartlesville. The Blue Warriors Honor Guard at Tinker AFB are bearers.

Roy D. Bell Sr. 1942 - 1989

Graveside service for Roy D. Bell, Sr., 46, Ada, will be 3 p.m., Friday, at Rosedale Cemetery. Richard Newlund conducting rites. Mr. Bell died July 19, 1989, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1942, at Cottonwood to Andrew W. and Alva Lee Douthitt Bell. He had lived all of his life in the Ada area and attended Ada schools. Bell graduated from East Central University in 1969, attended Trinity Baptist and had served in the U.S. Army.

He married Helen Thomas on May 5, 1965.

Survivors include three sons, Roy D. Bell, Jr., John Bell and Weldon Bell, all of Ada; one daughter, Chrystal Dawn Bell, Ada; two brothers, Jack Bell and Fred Bell, both of Ada; and one sister, Peggy Watts, Edmond.

Mike Nease. 1942 - 1985

Services for Mike Nease, 43, St. Peters, Mo., are 1 p.m., Thursday, in the chapel of Criswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Nordean will conduct rites and burial will be in Konawa Cemetery.

Mr. Nease, a former Ada resident died Sunday at his home. He was born July 3, 1942, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Elvin Edward and Zelpha Barnett Nease and attended Willard Elementary School and Ada High School.

He had attended East Central University and Central State University and had been employed the past 23 years by General Motors as a computer data specialist.

Mr. Nease and Lettie Ann Hensley married in 1961. He was a Baptist and a member of the Boone Trail Corvette Club in St. Peters.

Survivors include his wife, Ann, of the home; one son, Michael Edward Nease, Jr., of the home; a daughter, Brenna Lynn Nease, of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. "Buddy" Nease, Ada; and a sister, Gail Dobbs, Oklahoma City.

Lewis L. Daniels. 1941 - 1980

Ada Evening News:  An Ada man was killed in a one-car crash about seven miles southeast of Stonewall on a county road at 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Highway Patrol.  Lewis L. Daniels, 39, 400 W. 5th, was dead on arrival at Valley View Hospital.  The Patrol said Daniels was southbound on the county road, veered to the right and lost control of his car, which overturned twice, coming to rest on its top.  There were no passengers and no other vehicles involved, the Patrol said.  Ada Trooper Steve West investigated the accident. Services for Lewis Daniels, 39, 400 W. 5th, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Smith-Barton Funeral   Home, with burial in Rosedale Cemetery.  Daniels died Wednesday from injuries received in an automobile accident southeast of Stonewall. He was born March 1, 1941, in Ada, to Darris and Bessie Holley Daniels, and was a graduate of Ada High School and East Central University.  He was a welder. Daniels was a member of the National Guard and the Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include his wife, Nita, Bowlegs;  one daughter, Holley, Bowlegs;  two sons, John and Mark, both of Ada;  his mother, Bessie Bridges, Ada;  one sister, Joyce Wall, Spring, Texas, and one brother, Hollis Daniels, Ravenna, Texas. Bearers will be Thomas Stark, Gary Reed, Charles Etier, Burl Williams, Mike Beller and Bob Tweedy.  Honorary bearers are Harry Anderson and Dean Tyler.

Charles Edwin Willis Jr. 1941- 1978

   STRATFORD --  Services for Charles Edwin Willis, Jr., 1248 Southeast 22nd, Oklahoma City, 36, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ, of which he was a member.  Rev. John Stewart will officiate, assisted by Bill Oden.  Burial will be in McGee Cemetery.
   Mr. Willis died Sunday in Lawton.  He was born Nov. 28, 1941, in Stratford to Charles Edwin, Sr., and Thearon Heath Willis.  He was a laborer and a member of the Y.M.C.A.
   Survivors include his mother, Thearon, of Oklahoma City, father, Charles Edwin, Sr., Phoenix, Arizona, and two sisters, Reva Lee Wright, San Leandro, Calif., and Alice Jo Blair, Lawton.

Ronald Lewis Padberg 1942 - 1967

Ronald Lewis "Ronnie" Padberg, 25-year old son of Dr. and Mrs. E.D. Padberg, Ada, died Tuesday at his home, 1432 St. Louis Ave., Tulsa.
    Services are set for 4 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Criswell Funderal Home.  Rev. David Hause, First Baptist Church, will conduct the rites.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Casket bearers are Lynn Bartgis, Jerry Alton, Tommy Redman, Ronnie Sales, Charlie Mayhue, and O.B. Colvard.  Honorary bearers are Harry Turner, Ronald Black, Chuck Drummond, Darrell Zang, Bob Johnson, Wayne Pitt and Leon Biddy.
    Young Padberg was a 1960 graduate of Ada High School.  He was an all-conference guard on the 1959 Cougar state football championship team.  He also attended East Central State College and the University of Wyoming.  At the time of his death, he was employed by Rynam's Clothing Store, Tulsa.
    He was born April 3, 1942, and lived almost all his life here.  His father is a physician here.
Survivors include his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E.D. Padberg, Ada;  two brothers, Bill, Tyler, Tex., and Larry, Norman;  and his grandmother, Mrs. D.C. Woods, Oklahoma City.

                                                                                                                  

Jacklyn Jo Hankins
