Ronald Lewis "Ronnie" Padberg, 25-year old son of Dr. and Mrs. E.D. Padberg, Ada, died Tuesday at his home, 1432 St. Louis Ave., Tulsa.
Services are set for 4 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Criswell Funderal Home. Rev. David Hause, First Baptist Church, will conduct the rites. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Lynn Bartgis, Jerry Alton, Tommy Redman, Ronnie Sales, Charlie Mayhue, and O.B. Colvard. Honorary bearers are Harry Turner, Ronald Black, Chuck Drummond, Darrell Zang, Bob Johnson, Wayne Pitt and Leon Biddy.
Young Padberg was a 1960 graduate of Ada High School. He was an all-conference guard on the 1959 Cougar state football championship team. He also attended East Central State College and the University of Wyoming. At the time of his death, he was employed by Rynam's Clothing Store, Tulsa.
He was born April 3, 1942, and lived almost all his life here. His father is a physician here.
Survivors include his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E.D. Padberg, Ada; two brothers, Bill, Tyler, Tex., and Larry, Norman; and his grandmother, Mrs. D.C. Woods, Oklahoma City.
