Tunica, Miss.... Graveside services for Sandra Diane "Sandy" Powers, 63, Tunica, formerly of Ada, Okla., are 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, John Norvell officiating.
Mrs. Powers died May 2, 2006, at a Tunica nursing center. She was born July 10, 1942, at Ada, to Frank and Alyce Scott Palmore. She attended Ada Schools. She was an artist.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Gregory Powers; and a brother, Robert Scotson.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Mayo Powers, of the home; two daughters, Diane Hodge and husband Mark, Fayetteville, Ark., and Tiffany Larsen and husband Kevin, Walls, Miss.; a son, Michael Powers, Tunica; her mother, Alyce Scotson, Ada; a brother, Tom Palmore, Edmond, Okla.; grandchildren, Kate Hart and husband Joshua, Fayetteville, Elizabeth Hodge, Duncan, Okla., Nick Larsen and Emily Larsen, both of Walls; and a great-grandchild, Thomas Hart, Fayetteville.
