John Wayne Putman 1942 - 2000

Graveside services for John Wayne Putman, 57, Ada, are 10 a.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery, the Rev. Danny Alexander officiating.
Mr Putman died Feb. 8, 2000, at a local hospital.  He was born March 4, 1942, at Ada, to Wayne Willis and Genevieve Lambert Putman.  He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Floye and Ola Mae Bazemore.
He lived in this area all his life.  He attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School.  He attended East Central University.  He was employed by Mistletoe Express and the C.R. Anthony Company.
Survivors include a daughter, Delayna Aloexander, Kingston;  two half brothers, Lynn VanHorn Spencer, and Tom VanHorn, Mustang;  and a granddaughter.
